The Sim­ple Stay in Touch Sys­tem template

Imag­ine to have a sys­tem that helps you build con­nec­tions, main­tain them and lay the ground of your future suc­cess­es (what­ev­er it’ll be for you).

This tem­plate helps you to stay reg­u­lar­ly in touch with your estab­lished con­tacts, iden­ti­fy poten­tial new con­tacts, reach out to them and see if there’s rel­e­van­cy for you to stay in touch.

You define the inter­vals when to get in touch with estab­lished con­tacts and a ran­dom­iz­er shows you to ini­ti­ate with new peo­ple (you have pre­vi­ous­ly iden­ti­fied and entered into the system).

The con­cept of this tem­plate is built on Jakob Green­felds blog post (based on an idea by Derek Sivers) about how he stays in touch with hun­dreds of peo­ple on a reg­u­lar basis.

I’ve sim­pli­fied his con­cept fur­ther into only one data­base, using Notion (he uses Airtable).

This tem­plate is great for knowl­edge work­ers want­i­ng to build a long-term net­work, peo­ple who inter­view peo­ple for their pod­cast and every­one think­ing long-term to build their career.

All fil­ters were made on the mas­ter data­base so that you’ll have it avail­able where ever you want to embed a new fil­tered view. Oth­er tem­plates don’t offer that (bc they’re not up to date). The risk that you might acci­den­tal­ly delete ready made views is like­ly, but not with ours!
